All kids have great potential. At the Y, we work every day to help them set and achieve their personal and educational goals. They gain confidence as they recognize the Y as a place where they belong and can feel comfortable exploring new interests and passions. Additionally, through our leadership and academic enrichment programs such as mentoring, Youth in Community, Accelerated Reading Program at Lincoln and service learning projects, the Y makes sure that every child has an opportunity to envision and pursue a positive future and to take an active role in strengthening his or her community.

Youth in Community  (ages 6-12)
Students, come and take advantage of an opportunity to work on issues in your community through hands-on participation, and learn how our state government works. Improve your leadership and communication skills, travel to our Capitol, role play as the legislature, write a bill, and debate your position in this fun, educational and unique experience.
